I have been involved in the maintenance and design of Oki's many European sites written in HTML on
PERL server-side code. The page data is stored in a Content Management System and localised for every
country allowing for a consistent site appearance across all nationalities.

It has been my duty to maintain the Oki Public website - to address
cosmetic bugs and enhancements and suggest improvements to the
appearance and functionality of the many European websites for this
industry-leading printer-suply firm.

The Extranet is a special section of the Oki website specifically for
distributers of their products to view product information, exclusive
offers, and contact details in order to decide what items to stock
within their companies. It is available to approximately 30 countries
nation-wide, and all data on the pages is localisable from within the
custom-built CMS.

A small Microsite was needed to help advertise a new range of printers
that Oki were to release in May 2006. The campaign slogan was 'What
will you do in the time you save' - as these printers were to be the
fastest on the market. The website featured a range of ideas the
audience could participate in with the time they would save - and these
were reflected in randomly changing header-images, and floating
javascript images.

Merrilees' Photos
|
David Merrilees is a fantastic photographer of landscapes and portraits, who has a passion for travelling the world and capturing what he sees in a uniquely simple and captivating fashion. It has been my pleasure to create for him this equally simple and hopefully impressive website to help him communicate his art with his audience.

I have been responsible for the design and maintenance of David Merrilees' online photographic portfolio since it's inception in 1999. This current design consists of a simple arrangement of his latest work and contact details spread over a handful of pages, using a JavaScript-driven lightbox technique to overlay the images on the page.

Pure-D-Zign is the online name for race-car graphics company Race-FX.
Spraying unique images and logos onto almost anything from Nascar racers
to shop fronts, they approached me to design and build an online portfolio
for them using their eye-catching company colours and designs.

Pure D-zign, also known as Race-FX, began life in 1995 airbrushing body shells for R/C cars,
starting by providing local racers with their race paint schemes, through to teams,
magazines, European champions and World champions. Now spraying unique graphics on
anythign from Rally cars to airoplanes, Pure-D-Zign needed a catchy website to help advertise their
worldwide business. Using their bright company colourscheme and bundles of photos of their work
I came up with this online portfolio.

This is a website I designed for an Essex based comedy-rock band. It
contains all the elements you'd expect in a band website - downloads,
images, and guestbook. Written in ASP with an XML database to hold the
page information.
